Objectives

Having worked for the best interests of the under privileged slum children one can conclude that these children are still out of the main stream development. The community is yet to take the responsibility of the children. Protecting these children from harmful effects of work and labor, is a far cry. Education is still a dream for them. It is really unfortunate to know that the parents take little interest in their beloved ones. They lack security for themselves. Net result- increase in vulnerability particularly to girl child. They are prone to crime, drug abuse and ultimately to avoidable child labor.

To integrate underprivileged and homeless children and communities into the mainstream of society.
To fight for the rights of homeless individuals and children.
To prevent the trafficking of women and children.
To rehabilitate underprivileged children by providing proper guidance, vocational education, and related support activities.
To promote and undertake social service initiatives aimed at improving the living conditions and economic standards of poor and weaker sections of society.
To work towards greater involvement and empowerment of women through social institutions and networks.
To make learning a cornerstone for liberation and development by offering need-based vocational training for children, functional literacy for adults, and family counseling against atrocities.
To motivate communities and create awareness about literacy and education.
To reduce the vulnerability of communities living in multi-hazard–prone areas through disaster preparedness and resilience-building activities.
